Job Summary:

 The Investigations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the investigations team, ensuring thorough, timely, and compliant handling of cases. This role combines hands-on investigative work with leadership duties, including supervising staff, improving processes, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities 

· Lead, mentor, and support a team of investigators, including training and performance management

  • Oversee case assignments and ensure timely and accurate completion of investigations
  • Conduct complex or high-priority investigations as needed
  • Review investigative reports for quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Develop and implement investigation procedures and best practices
  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners as needed
  • Track and analyze investigation metrics to improve team performance
  • Handle escalated issues and provide resolution guidance
  • Assist in audits, reporting, and risk mitigation efforts

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required
  • 3–5+ years of investigative experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of investigative techniques, compliance standards, and documentation practices
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
  • Experience with case management or investigation software preferred
