Service Billing Coordinator
Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Service Billing Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, in-office, contract-to-hire position  position supports the Service Manager and works closely with coordinators, technicians, and customers to ensure accurate and timely billing. The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You're comfortable working with numbers, highly organized, and an effective communicator—both written and verbal. As a self-starter, you take initiative, manage your time well, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You're tech-savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office, and able to quickly learn new systems. If you type 60+ words per minute and enjoy being part of a team that values accuracy and efficiency, this could be the perfect fit for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Close out service work orders in our service management software
  • Prepare job details for billing, including labor, parts, and fees
  • Invoice work orders in financial software
  • Upload invoices to customer portals or send via email
  • Run and review billing reports regularly
  • Track and maintain purchase order (PO) balances
  • Communicate with field technicians to verify labor and parts accuracy
  • Follow up weekly with customers to confirm invoice receipt
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing-related questions

  • Reports directly to the Service Manager
