Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair irrigation systems throughout the community, including residential, golf, and common areas.
  • Install new irrigation systems, components, and upgrades as assigned.
  • Monitor irrigation performance to ensure proper coverage, water conservation, and system efficiency.
  • Adjust irrigation schedules and controllers based on weather conditions and seasonal requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, broken lines, valves, sprinkler heads, pumps, and controllers.
  • Perform regular system testing and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and costly repairs.
  • Maintain landscaping and turf health by ensuring proper irrigation practices are followed.
  • Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Track inventory of irrigation parts and supplies, reporting additional needs as necessary.
  • Track time spent on specific assignments to accurately view job costs.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents, guests, and team members.
  • Assist with additional landscaping and grounds maintenance duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required by the business and supervisor.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous irrigation installation and repair experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, pumps, and sprinkler systems.
  • Ability to read irrigation plans and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude.
