699 - Outside Sales Representative-Texas Region

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing customer relationships throughout the Texas region. This role focuses on expanding existing accounts, identifying new customers, and executing territory sales strategies that support branch growth and profitability.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through customer  engagement and business development activities. 
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new customer relationships while  expanding existing accounts. 
  • Build strong partnerships with contractors, builders, and customers   within the local market. 
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and follow up on leads and  opportunities. 
  • Conduct customer visits, job site meetings, and territory   development activities. 
  • Support revenue growth while maintaining pricing integrity and    margin expectations. 
  • Track sales activity, pipeline updates, and customer interactions   through CRM and reporting tools. 
  • Partner with branch leadership to support territory planning and   customer satisfaction. 
  • Monitor market opportunities and identify strategies to increase   sales performance. 
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain strong customer   relationships. 
Requirements
  • Previous outside sales experience with a proven track record of  meeting or exceeding sales goals. 
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills. 
  • Self-motivated, organized, and highly accountable. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within   an assigned territory. 
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Texas region. 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. 
  • Experience in building materials, distribution, manufacturing, or  industrial sales preferred. 
  • Experience managing a geographic sales territory preferred. 
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy, margin management, and account  development preferred. 
  • Proven success in new business development and customer retention   preferred.
