Description
What You’ll Do
- Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments to patients of all ages
- Monitor and maintain vaccine inventory, including VFC and private stock
- Ensure proper vaccine storage, temperature monitoring, and documentation compliance
- Coordinate immunization reminder and recall outreach for patients due for vaccines
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and WebIZ
- Assist with vaccine ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with CDC, ACIP, KDHE, VFC, and other regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with providers and care teams to support preventive care initiatives
- Educate patients and families regarding immunizations and vaccine schedules

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN or LPN license
- CPR certification for healthcare providers
- Current vaccination record meeting healthcare worker recommendations
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Experience in immunizations, public health, primary care, or pediatric care
- Experience with vaccine programs including VFC and WebIZ
- Experience with electronic medical records (eCW preferred)
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- Bilingual (Spanish)
