Position Summary:

The Yard Lead position supports the successful operations of the business by adding the day day-to-day operations of the Yard. Additionally, the foreman ensures that workers are performing their tasks correctly and that yard associates are trained to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

 Compensation: is $22-25 an hour, depending on experience  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PVC routing, loading, cutting, and cycle counts.
• Assures that the yard is in good safe working order.
• Checks work orders to make sure appropriate equipment is staged for loading.
• Assists customers by filling orders and loading trucks.
• Inspects returned equipment for damage during the rental period.
• Maintains a checklist of equipment status.
• Ensures safe work habits for all staff through supervision and training.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma
• 1-year experience preferred
• Experience in distribution, shipping, and receiving
• Knowledge of equipment utilization and safety requirements
• Personal and professional integrity
• A clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety and integrity
• Use of tool and equipment
• English/Spanish is preferred but not required
