Silverton Health & Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. In this role, you’ll help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive skilled nursing environment.
Position Details
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time available
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Post-Acute Rehab
What You’ll Do
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized care plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
- Help create a positive, encouraging environment for patients and families
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Idaho PTA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for working with geriatric and rehab populations

Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
Licenses/Certification:
- Current state PTA licensure.
- Valid CPR certification.
Experience:
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
