Silverton Health & Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. In this role, you’ll help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive skilled nursing environment.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time or part-time available
  • Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Post-Acute Rehab

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Implement individualized care plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment
  • Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Help create a positive, encouraging environment for patients and families

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active Idaho PTA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for working with geriatric and rehab populations

Requirements

Education:  

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.

Licenses/Certification:

  • Current state PTA licensure.
  • Valid CPR certification.

Experience:

  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
