Senior Analyst, Portfolio, & Timeline Management

Job Summary:


The Sr. Specialist, Portfolio & Timeline Management will hold a critical role in the department, working directly with all levels of Management to ensure departmental success. They will report directly to the Supervisor of QC & Compliance. They will work alongside the attorneys, management, clients, and staff in a fast paced, collaborative environment to ensure Firm success and Client satisfaction.  The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the legal/default servicing industry, preferably at a servicer or default law firm.  


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist department Management with monitoring and progressing certain high touch client portfolios, as well as pitching in at critical times to help various teams with tasks related to these portfolios. 
  • Assist Management in monitoring MyWork and Client System Workloads, ensuring they are completed Timely and Accurately as related to various portfolios. 
  • Create and distribute various reports both internally and externally. 
  • Work with team members, attorneys, and Management to ensure the department is meeting clients/investor SLAs, FLAD, FLMD, as well as various other requirements and scorecard metrics.
  • Monitor and digest Incoming Client Directives to ensure departmental compliance, as well as initiate and monitor change management to successful completion. Assist Management as needed in dissemination to relevant staff. 
  • Work with Management, Ops, and IT throughout change management initiatives related to client/investor guidelines and scorecard metrics. 
  • Collaborate with Management in creating portfolio success strategies. 
  • Assist Management as needed with comprehensive and thorough scorecard rebuttal creation, as well as timely submission. Assist in creating templates for regular rebuttals, as well as policies and procedures related to the same. Assist Management with monitoring deadlines. 
  • Assist Management as needed with financial quality control, as well as monitoring pre-loss communications for patterns, with an eye toward identifying IT improvements and training needs. 
  • Assist Management with developing processes and procedures, as needed, throughout the department. 
  • Work with Management to create and modify comprehensive training tools for new and tenured employees relating to client directives, new initiatives, SLA requirements, and client scorecard metrics. 
  • Assist Management with Remediation Projects and Portfolio Scrubs.
  • Assist Management as needed with significant client escalations. 
  • Assist Management with creating, deploying, and monitoring QC Team projects. 
  • Complete special projects as needed, at the direction of Management. 
  • Regularly interface with clients and promote positive client relations. 
  • Proactively monitor sensitive portfolios and client systems to ensure all available holds are raised, as well as place historical holds as needed. 
  • Interface with clients and co-workers virtually (and telephonically) on a regular basis
  • Liaise between intradepartmental teams to promote cohesiveness, collaboration, and the MRLP corporate culture.
  • Communicate with others in a professional and personable manner, both internally and externally.
  • Self starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment. 
  • Apply industry and default process knowledge to ensure portfolio wide success. 
  • Work effectively and congenially with co-workers and colleagues throughout the firm; promote inter/intra-departmental cooperation. 
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all team members to create a partnership that yields success,      predictable results and credibility. 
  • Will perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; or
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the legal/default servicing industry

  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Proficiency in Default Servicing Client Systems (ICE, Clairfire, Tempo, Vendorscape, etc.)
  • Familiarity with firm’s case and document management software.
  • Ability to delegate, follow-up, and monitor tasks to completion. 
  • Ability to operate computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Description
$65,000 - $75,000
