Job Title: Student Attendance Office Coordinator

Job Summary
TKA is a Christ-centered school grounded in a Biblical worldview, and we are looking for a Student Attendance Office Coordinator who is a follower of Jesus Christ and is dedicated to the school’s Christ-centered mission. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment while ensuring accurate, timely, and student-centered service to students, parents, and staff.
Essential Job Functions
Regular Activities
- Track daily attendance and maintain accurate records
- Provide administrative support to the Dean’s Office and High School Principal
- Report management and data entry
- Oversee the flow of student and parent activity within the SAO
- Support student and parent communications, including handling deliveries and documents
- Promptly respond to student needs
- Answers office phones
- Schedule and deliver call slips to classrooms across campus
- Supervise Student office assistants and support their daily responsibilities
- Manages problems and concerns with lockers after they are assigned
- Provide minor first aid support when the nurse is unavailable
- Organize and coordinate lost and found donations
- Plan and coordinate Admin Birthday lunches quarterly (Sept/Nov/Feb/April)
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years general office management preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership qualities and mentoring skills
- Excellent skills in communicating both orally and in written form
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to learn new computer software systems

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Required to use the computer throughout the day
- Work will be performed from the campus
- Will move throughout the campus during the day
- May occasionally have to lift up to 20 pounds
- Work is generally performed, Mid August-Early June, Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- The months listed are approximate, and the annual start and end date will be dictated by the school calendar and the department’s needs.
- You will receive 22 days off during the summer

- Pay Grid: Coordinator I
- Pay Grid Range: $25.37 to $29.73
- Salary is based on a preset pay grid and determined by education and experience; Most candidates enter in the lower to middle range.
