Job Title: Foreman

Position Overview: The Fabrication Foreman is a hands-on leader responsible for supervising shop and field fabrication operations while working alongside crew members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role oversees daily workflow, directs fabrication personnel, enforces safety standards, and ensures work is completed in accordance with engineering specifications, schedules, and budget requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role, you will work alongside your crew while directing daily production, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise      fabrication  crew for operations including CNC machines, press      brakes, plasma tables, and other onsite equipment.
  • Manage and coordinate crews      responsible for machine-based fabrication processes, ensuring      productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Train, mentor, and develop      team members on equipment operation, fabrication techniques, and best      practices.
  • Read and interpret      engineering drawings, shop sketches, blueprints, and 3-D models to guide      staff assembly and fabrication activities.
  • Monitor production output      and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and           climb ladders throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50      lbs      when required
  • Comfortable working in an           industrial fabrication environment with      noise, dust, and heavy equipment

Working Conditions:

  • Shop and heat environments.
  • Exposure to structural      steel      fabrication, welding operations, and      heavy machinery.
  • May require overtime or           flexible scheduling based on project needs.
  • Occasional Saturdays during           peak seasons
