Position Overview

Unica Enterprises has immediate temporary openings for janitorial staff at the DFW Airport Rent a Car Center in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. These positions are available for the month of June only to support increased operational needs at a high-volume, fast-paced facility operating 24/7. We are seeking dependable team members to support continuous custodial operations across multiple shifts. Positions are available for 1st Shift, 3rd Shift, and Floor Technicians. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a high-traffic transportation environment.

Scheduling Requirements (APPLIES TO ALL POSITIONS)

Facility operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: Full-Time; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 
• 3rd Shift: Full-Time; 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM 
• Floor Technicians: Full-Time; 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM 

Assignment Duration:

• Temporary assignment for the month of June only 

• Continuous cleaning and sanitation throughout assigned areas 
• Clean and disinfect: 
  • Restrooms and break areas 
  • Rental car service areas and customer spaces 
  • Entrances, hallways, elevators, and common areas 
• Floor care: 
  • Mopping       
  • Auto-scrubbing       
  • Buffing and burnishing (Floor Technicians) 
  • Vacuuming and spot cleaning 
• Trash removal and liner replacement 
• Restock paper products and cleaning supplies 
• High-touch surface disinfection 
• Window and glass cleaning 
• Respond promptly to spills and urgent cleaning requests 
• Maintain safety standards in high-traffic areas 
• Support special projects and operational needs as assigned 

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of custodial or janitorial experience preferred 
• Floor care experience preferred for Floor Technician positions 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment 
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and company policies 
• Must be able to pass background check and E-Verify 

Work Environment

• High-traffic airport rental car facility with continuous activity 
• Indoor and outdoor work areas 
• Physically active role requiring: 
  • Standing and walking for extended periods 
  • Bending, lifting, and repetitive movement 
• Requires urgency, responsiveness, and attention to detail 
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, equipment noise, and changing weather conditions in certain areas

Starting Pay:

• Starting rate of $16.50/hour
