We are currently looking for experienced and dependable Production Operators.  This  position is a 12 hr rotating dupont schedule with built in Overtime  every 2 weeks and a starting pay of $22/hr- $26/hr plus a night shift  differential of $1/hr!!! We are also offering a SIGN-ON BONUS of  $3,000!!!!!  


No experience? We invite all applicants who are interested to apply! Starting pay for no experience is $21/hr!!!!


What is a Production Operator?

A   Production Operator completes various tasks such as process logs,  weight tickets, material transfer tickets, or other paperwork and  routinely expected to monitor various process parameters, collect  process samples, and/or run basic analytical tests on such samples.   Production Operators will also be trained in the material handling  process, shipping and receiving process, moving, loading or unloading  tankers and railcars, product packaging and/or labeling.  


What do I have to do? 

  • Daily involvement with plant housekeeping, product packaging, sample collection.
  • Safely perform the material handling duties; moving, unloading and loading tankers, railcars, drums, and totes.
  • Successfully complete all assigned plant training programs.
  • Safely operate various support equipment (e.g., forklift, overhead crane, yard tractor, etc.)
  • Neatly and accurately complete any required forms, logs, or other plant paperwork.
  • Provide  general plant support for various processes and deal with daily  operational tasks as assigned by the lead operator,      plant  supervisor, or plant manager, within the parameters for which he/she has  been trained to perform.
  • Other job duties/requirements may be assigned or changed to adapt to business needs
  • Abide by the principles in the EHS&S mission statement.
  • Abide by Chem Group’s quality Policy.

Requirements

 

  • High school education or GED
  • 2+ Years experience in a Chemical plant
  • Ability to effectively read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g., arithmetic, fractions, proportions, basic algebra)
  • Ability to successfully complete any additional training required for specific projects or processes.
  • Must comply with drug and alcohol testing policy as set forth in the Chem Group Employee Handbook
  • Responsibilities and training outlined in the RCRA Hazwaste Job Duties Matrix 
  • Pass the fit for duty requirements 
  • Ability to climb stairs, use a ladder and lift 60 pounds 
  • Wear  required personal protective equipment which shall always include  appropriate eye protection, a hard hat, and steel toed work shoes.  Additional personal protective equipment may also be required from time  to time. 
  • Overtime may be required particularly during peak seasons or specific project deadlines
