Production Operator:  

2 Day Shift Openings and 1 Night Shift Opening

THE POSITION: 

We are looking for a full time Production Operator who is team-oriented, has good communication skills, and prioritizes attendance. The ideal candidate can:

•   Work 10 hour shifts  Monday thru Thursday . Overtime as needed.
•   Record process information 
•   Perform overhead crane operations
•   Perform duties involving the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse/worksite, including equipment.
•   Demonstrate consistent problem-solving skills.
•   Identify goods that do not meet our quality standards.

THE LOCATION:

This position will be housed in our Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility. Our city is ideally located in the foothills of North Carolina, and is home to comfortable climates, top-notch educational institutions and healthcare facilities, recreational opportunities, and friendly people.

Essential Duties: 

• Overhead crane operation for moving modules through process

• Read and follow process instructions

• Maintain process specifications

• Ensure modules are moved at proper times

• Verify that solution criteria (temp, pH, etc.) is within specs before using

• Record appropriate process information on module traveler cards

• Ensure module traveler cards are moved on the process tracking board to accurately represent the placement of the modules in the process tanks

• Assist in loading/unloading of modules in all ovens

• Properly label catalyst modules during and after processing

• Alert supervisor of process deviations

• Assist in chemical mixing and additions as needed

• Follow all safety procedures

• Able to read, follow instruction, and record information

• Overhead crane operation

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

• Work experience in an industrial environment

• Chemical handling experience

• Overhead crane operation experience

• Forklift experience preferred 

• Proven knowledge of MSDS information

• Proven knowledge of general plant safety
