We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. Schedule is 7p-7a working 2 nights a week and every other weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
- Monitor and document patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Qualifications
1 Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and be currently licensed by the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, Department of State
2 Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations, and guidelines governing skilled nursing facilities; and
3 Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and completed high school or obtained the equivalent of a high school education; and
4 Must possess the ability to speak to and be understood by residents and staff, and demonstrate the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions; and
5 Must possess an agreeable and helpful attitude toward senior adults.
