About the Opportunity

Bonezzi Switzer Polito & Perry Co. LPA is a respected mid-sized defense litigation firm with a strong presence across Ohio. We are seeking a Litigation Associate with experience in personal injury and/or professional liability defense to support cases through investigation and discovery in our Cincinnati office.


This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience, develop case management skills, and work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.


What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Ohio Bar License (required)
  • 3–5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred)
  • Experience with personal injury and/or professional liability matters
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage cases with appropriate supervision
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach

Requirements

What You’ll Do


As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in managing litigation matters from early investigation through discovery and resolution, while working closely with senior attorneys and gradually taking on greater responsibility.

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda
  • Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
  • Assist with case strategy, liability analysis, and exposure evaluation
  • Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and court proceedings
  • Support trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit coordination
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members
  • Prepare case reports, status updates, and legal correspondence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance defense or general liability litigation experience
  • Deposition and courtroom experience
  • Ability to handle a moderate caseload with increasing independence
