Description
The Mechanic C is an entry level technician responsible for assisting in maintenance and repair of company equipment under direct supervision. This role focuses on learning, executing basic mechanic task, and supporting higher-level mechanics.

Requirements
Basic Maintenance Duties
- Oil and filter changes
- Fluid checks and top -offs
- Tire inspections , rotation, repairs and replacement
- Lubrication of components
Basic Repairs
- Lights, alarms, fuses, and switches
Shop Support
- Clean and organize work areas
- Clean body from Asphalt FC5 using excavator
- Watch yard during shift
- conduct yard patrols three times per night

Work Schedule
- Night Shift (required)
- Typical schedule: Tuesday to Saturday , approximately 8:00 pm to 6:00 am
- Training will be conducted during the day, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates must be available to attend the daytime training schedule before transitioning to the night shift.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 -75 lbs pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and rain
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to work in dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments
- Ability to enter and exit trucks and heavy equipment safely
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Good vision and hearing for safety and equipment inspections
- Ability to work day, night, weekends, and overtime as needed.
