Description

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Execute conduit path placement projects with a strong emphasis on manual labor and physical effort.
  • Collaborate with the OSP team to meticulously plan and implement conduit placement strategies.
  • Perform trenching and excavation duties with precision, adhering to strict depth and alignment specifications.
  • Utilize a range of specialized tools and equipment to install conduits, demonstrating expertise in various installation techniques.
  • Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and safety protocols throughout every phase of conduit placement.
  • Team up with fellow technicians to accurately feed, pull, and secure cables within the installed conduits.
  • Identify and swiftly report any deviations or challenges encountered during conduit installation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of conduit placement activities, providing comprehensive records for future reference.
  • Contribute proactively to a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, in line with company safety guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and successes with supervisors and team members.
  •  Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate district office area based on client needs, business needs, and project scope.
  • Exposure to noisy or dusty conditions; chemicals & solvents; mechanical, electrical, and/or other hazards.
  • General hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. But the ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required.
  • Regional travel required.
