Functional Description:  

  • Position will develop and maintain custom software solutions based on Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and the Program Office Shared drive in both classified and unclassified environments
  • Analyze and documenting customer requirements
  • Develop Common Source Libraries and integrated management environments where all team members see real-time data
  • Use analytical and technical skills to bridge business requirements into logical design solutions. Document, design, manage and assist with development of SharePoint solutions

Duties and Responsibilities: 


As the Data Program Management Analyst for the PMO, you are responsible for providing senior staff recommendations for improving access to data and data management through an intuitive user interface. Develop, manage, and maintain workflows and automate rule-based tasks. The position would be responsible directly to the Operation Lead in reporting and tasking to meet PMA schedules and to realize PMA data management initiatives.


Tasking includes:  

  • Workflow Engineering: Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using NAVAIR-approved platforms to streamline business processes  
  • Business Rule Translation: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to map manual processes and translate PMA policies into logic-based digital triggers 
  • Tool Integration: Ensure interoperability between disparate data sources to provide leadership with a single source of truth 
  • Optimization & Maintenance: Perform continuous "bug fixes" and updates to existing workflows as Navy acquisition regulations and PMA requirements evolve 
  • User Training: Develop SOPs and conduct training for PMA personnel to ensure high adoption rates of new automated systems 

Required Experience:          

  • Experience with tools available on networks with classifications up to Top Secret
  • SharePoint Online: Central repository and data source for automation. Experience with uses lists and libraries to house PMA business rules and metadata, replacing traditional folders and spreadsheets 
  • Power Automate: Create automated flows. It is used to trigger actions based on events—such as document uploads or data changes—to manage automated approvals, notifications, and task assignments across the PMA 
  • Power BI: Automate reporting and data visualization Experience integrating PMA data into interactive dashboards to track real-time program metrics without manual formatting or distribution 
  • Power Apps: Build custom mobile and web front-end applications for specific tasks, such as digital forms for intake processes or tracking assets 

Desired Experience:     

  • Experience developing Office Macros and SharePoint workflows, forms, and web parts
  • Experience with working on networks of various security classification 

Education Requirements  


BA/BS degree or supplemental experience is required
