Join the team fighting hunger in New Hampshire! The New Hampshire Food Bank (NHFB) is seeking an Operations Coordinator to provide critical support to the Operations team, with a primary focus on donor cultivation, and coordination of food donations from retail, regional, and national partners.

The Operations Coordinator will provide critical support to the Operations of the NH Food Bank (NHFB), working closely with the Director of Operations, Procurement Manager, and Warehouse Manager. While this role maintains necessary administrative functions, cultivation, and the coordination of food donations from grocery stores and national partners. This role acts as a vital link between the food bank and the food industry, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality nutritional resources. 

Responsibilities 

· Work with the Procurement Manager and Fresh Rescue Team to manage all aspects of food acquisition.

· Maintain ongoing relationships with donors and develop new accounts by arranging virtual visits and presentations with current, lapsed and prospective retail donors to secure food and grocery items.

· Responsible for quality assurance on all inbound product including daily quality checks on all items previously received to determine if potential action is needed.

· Create and manage purchase orders for all local procurements.

· Track and manage local donations to achieve monthly and annual goals.

· Use VAP, Glean, [DG1] or purchase locally grown produce at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other established factors.

· Take lead on developing a robust Rapid Distribution Plan working with internal and external stake holders

· Monitor and develop plans to increase the distribution of Foods to Encourage (F2E), prioritizing nutritious options for agencies and clients.

· In collaboration with the Agency Relations and Fresh Rescue Team:

· Develop and acquire food donors for NHFB, expanding the acquisition of high-quality food including meat, produce, dairy, nonperishable, and salvage items.

· Serve as the liaison to the retail channel of food sourcing, coordinating with retail partners to ensure NHFB receives every category of food offered.

· Practice cultivation processes that include commitment meetings, monthly visits, presentations, follow-up calls, and reports.

· Prepare and present reports documenting donations and trends to donor partners.

· Research potential new food donation sources and create/maintain a tracking system for potential food donors.

· Become familiar with the "blue receipt" process and ensure blue receipt reporting is up to date and 

Requirements

· Associate’s Degree in Business, Management or related field; or High School Diploma/GED and one or more years of experience in Business, Management or related field; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

· Minimum 2 years of applicable experience developing relationships and working with vendors.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Experience with inventory software (i.e. Ceres) is strongly preferred.
