The Facilities Manager will oversee maintenance and facility needs for multiple business locations throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, communicates well, can manage multiple moving parts and is comfortable handling both physical maintenance tasks and administrative responsibilities. Provides supervision to part-time maintenance employees.
What You’ll Do:
- Performs general maintenance and repair work at office locations
- Drywall repair and patching
- Interior painting and touch-up work
- Repair and maintenance of sinks, toilets, and basic plumbing fixtures
- Changes light bulbs, ballasts, filters, and other routine maintenance items
- Responds to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinates and prioritizes repairs across multiple locations
- Maintains accurate maintenance logs, receipts, invoices, and paperwork
- Assists with vendor coordination and facility projects as needed
- Ensures facilities remain clean, safe, and operational
- Travels regularly to office locations throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana
What We’re Looking For:
- Must live in the Greater Louisville Area
- Experience in commercial or business facility maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, plumbing, lighting, and general repairs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and basic computer systems
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and supplies as needed
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
