General Job Summary


The Vice President of Enterprise Sales is a senior, quota carrying sales executive responsible for generating net-new logo revenue by identifying and closing new mortgage sub servicing opportunities. This role focuses on selling into the credit union, community banking, and mortgage banking markets, expanding the company’s footprint within existing industry segments.

This is a highly independent, customer facing role with full ownership of the sales cycle—from opportunity identification through contract execution. The VP of Enterprise Sales leads complex, multi stakeholder enterprise deals, builds executive level relationships, and consistently closes high value transactions. There is no people management with this role; success is measured entirely by new logo acquisition and revenue growth.


Summary of Essential Job Functions

New Logo Acquisition (Primary Responsibility)

  • Identify, target, and pursue new enterprise opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, and industry partners.
  • Build and maintain a robust personal pipeline of high-value prospects.
  • Execute the full sales cycle—including prospecting, discovery, solution alignment, executive presentations, proposals, and closing.
  • Deliver compelling, and exciting consultative pitches customized to each prospect’s financial, operational, and strategic objectives.
  • Drive deals to close with precision, urgency, and executive level influence.

Deal Strategy & Negotiation

  • Lead all commercial discussions, including pricing, scope, terms, and negotiations.
  • Navigate complex buying processes involving procurement, legal, risk, and multi department stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internally with Legal and Finance to resolve contract redlines and ensure aligned deal structures.



Pipeline, Forecasting & CRM Discipline

  • Maintain accurate pipeline stages, deal notes, and forecast projections.
  • Conduct rigorous qualification using proven enterprise sales methodologies. 
  • Provide dependable forecasts to the SVP Business Development and CEO with visibility into deal progression, blockers, and timelines.



Market Expertise & Insight

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor capabilities, and regulatory or market shifts impacting buyer needs.
  • Provide structured feedback to Product and Leadership on emerging opportunities or market gaps.


Cross Functional Selling Collaboration

  • Work with Marketing to shape targeted outbound and demand-gen campaigns.
  • Engage Client Relations for pre close reassurance and seamless post close handoff.
  • Collaborate with Product for complex solution validation when needed.

Other Job Functions

  • Act as liaison between financial institution partners and all internal MLS departments, managers, and staff
  • Continuously review MLS services to determine benefits and market demands
  • Follow all University Bank policies and procedures as applicable
  • All other duties as assigned by Executive Management


Requirements

Education, Training and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or sales required
  • 5 +marketing and sales of financial services experience required
  • 5 + mortgage industry management experience required preferably with a solid understanding of Mortgage Servicing
  • Experience selling in financial services, mortgage/servicing, fintech, data/analytics, or other regulated industries strongly preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce a plus

Working Environment

Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at managements sole discretion. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.


Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Extended periods of sitting (at computer desk)
  • Ability to travel on a flexible schedule  
  • Complete repetitive tasks (including operation of computer mouse/keyboard)

The salary range for this role takes into consideration a wide range of factors including but not limited to the duties of the role, experience, location, and certificates and/or education. The target salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000 per year (plus incentives with target earnings around $200,000+/yr).
