Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Warehouse, Clips, Cable, and Rods departments. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, timely shipping and receiving activities, and proper organization of materials to support manufacturing operations. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy within Oracle, coordinating department personnel, and promoting a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations for the Warehouse, Clips, Cable, and Rods departments.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels while ensuring timely replenishment of stock and materials.
- Process purchasing orders and track shipments while investigating discrepancies or delivery issues.
- Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile stock counts against system-generated reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving information within Oracle.
- Receive, inspect, unpack, stock, and distribute materials and warehouse items as needed.
- Coordinate with receiving personnel to verify materials meet required specifications, including warehouse inventory, clips, cable, and rods materials.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy for assigned departments.
- Process and document material returns in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas while ensuring materials are properly labeled and stored.
- Assist with routine administrative duties including data entry, answering phones, and supporting internal customers.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Support production operations by ensuring materials are available and delivered in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse lead or warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory control, receiving, and warehouse operations required.
- Working knowledge of Oracle or similar inventory management systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and material handling processes.
- Ability to reconcile inventory discrepancies and analyze inventory data.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in basic clerical and computer functions including data entry and word processing.
- Forklift operating experience required.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.
