Starting at $18/hr. | Full-Time | Growth Opportunities
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on teammate to join our glass tempering production team. This role is a good fit for someone with manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, equipment, or other physical work experience who takes pride in doing the job right.
Glass experience is not required. We will train the right person on our equipment, process, paperwork, and quality standards. What we need from day one is reliability, attention to detail, urgency, and the willingness to stay productive without someone standing over your shoulder.
This is a physical, fast-moving production environment. Successful teammates learn the machine, understand the process, prepare for the next order, notice quality concerns, and help keep the area moving. Over time, this role develops into a skilled production position involving machine operation, setup, adjustments, process knowledge, and support with equipment care.
This role may be a good fit if you:
· Show up on time and take attendance seriously.
· Like hands-on work and staying busy.
· Take pride in quality and accuracy.
· Can follow paperwork, measurements, and production instructions.
· Notice when something looks wrong and speak up.
· Want to learn equipment, machines, and production processes.
· Can work without needing constant reminders.
· Are comfortable with physical work in a manufacturing environment.
· Want a long-term opportunity with growth and pay progression.
This role is probably not a good fit if you:
· Prefer a job where you wait for someone to tell you every next step.
· Are not comfortable with physical production work.
· Struggle with consistent attendance or being on time.
· Do not like repetitive work, quality checks, or following detailed instructions.
· Prefer a slower-paced role without production expectations.
· Are looking for a position where downtime means standing around.
Responsibilities include:
· Moving and handling glass safely through the tempering process.
· Operating and monitoring production equipment.
· Reading work orders, measurements, and production requirements.
· Performing quality checks throughout the process.
· Preparing materials and staging upcoming work.
· Keeping the work area clean, organized, and production ready.
· Reporting safety, quality, paperwork, or equipment concerns.
· Learning machine setup, adjustments, troubleshooting, and basic equipment care over time.
Qualifications:
· Prior hands-on work experience in manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, logistics, equipment operation, or a similar environment preferred.
· Strong attendance and reliability required.
· Ability to work at a steady production pace.
· Mechanical aptitude or interest in learning equipment operation preferred.
· Ability to read a tape measure.
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
· Positive attitude, team mindset, and willingness to learn.
We are looking for teammates who want to build skills, grow with the company, and take pride in their work.
