Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules, materials requirements, and manufacturing workflows to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality microgrid systems. You will serve as the link between manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.
- Coordinating with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitoring work-in-progress (WIP) and adjusting schedules to address delays, bottlenecks, or changes in demand.
- Collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve manufacturing issues and support product launches.
- Reviewing and analyzing production data to identify trends, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities.
- Preparing and distributing daily/weekly production status reports.
- Ensuring all planning activities align with company quality standards, safety procedures, and EROCK Core Values.
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of manufacturing planning, scheduling, or materials management experience.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and production documents.
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
- Can balance big-picture production goals with day-to-day detail management.
- Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
- Possess strong analytical skills to solve problems and anticipate challenges.
