Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Responsibilities:
As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the facility while maintaining a strong focus on resident care and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all day-to-day facility operations, including clinical, financial, and administrative functions
- Leading and supporting department heads and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Promoting high standards of resident care, safety, and quality outcomes
- Managing facility budgets, operational performance, and census development
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and community partners
- Supporting employee engagement, retention, and professional development
- Creating and maintaining a positive, collaborative workplace culture
- Ensuring the facility operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards of care
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Qualifications:
- Current and valid Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the State of Illinois
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator
- RN or MD credentials preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple departments and priorities
- Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-focused approach
