Inside Sales Representative
Description

The Inside Sales Representative supports revenue growth by generating and converting leads, expanding dealer participation, and driving adoption of auction services and digital auction tools. This role builds relationships with dealers and inventory sources through consistent outbound outreach, account follow-up, and customer education. The Sales Representative supports buyer and seller onboarding, promotes auction participation, and maintains accurate CRM documentation to support performance reporting and pipeline visibility.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts outbound outreach to prospective and existing dealers to promote auction services, digital bidding tools, and participation in upcoming sales.
  • Builds and maintains an active sales pipeline through lead generation, follow-up activity, and consistent account engagement.
  • Supports dealer onboarding by educating customers on registration processes, digital auction platforms, bidding tools, and account setup.
  • Executes call/email/text campaigns to support consignment growth, online participation, and reactivation of inactive accounts.
  • Identifies customer needs and recommends services and auction solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Tracks customer activity, opportunities, and outreach results in CRM systems to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Collaborates with operations and customer service teams to resolve customer issues and support retention and satisfaction.
  • Supports sale-day customer engagement by assisting with dealer needs, registration support, and digital participation troubleshooting as assigned.
  • Maintains professional knowledge of auction schedules, policies, digital tools, and value-added services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in sales, customer service, call center, account support, or business development.
  • Experience in automotive, auctions, dealerships, fleet/lease, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience using CRM systems and outbound calling tools preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate frequently by phone and electronic messaging tools.
  • Ability to occasionally travel locally to support dealer meetings, training, or auction events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting time-sensitive sale schedules.
