Description

The HR Business Partner plays a hands-on role in supporting Business Operations leaders and employees across Inter Miami CF (IMCF). This position partners closely with the Sr. Director of Human Resources to manage day-to-day HR needs, including employee relations, performance support, onboarding, policy guidance, engagement initiatives, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is practical, responsive, and comfortable balancing strategic partnership with execution in a fast-paced professional sports environment. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business operations teams, providing day-to-day support to leaders and employees. 
  • Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, attendance, policy application, and workplace issues. 
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, documentation, and follow-up, in partnership with HR leadership and Legal as needed. 
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal movement, offboarding, and related HR processes. 
  • Assist in administering performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback conversations, performance improvement plans, and annual review cycles. 
  • Respond to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general workplace matters. 
  • Maintain and apply HR policies and practices consistently while supporting compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. 
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and employee support. 
  • Support compensation, benefits administration, open enrollment, employee programs, and recognition initiatives. 
  • Help coordinate training, manager support resources, and employee engagement activities across assigned departments. 
  • Track, maintain, and analyze HR data and reporting to support accurate records, compliance, and informed decision-making. 
  • Travel between work locations as needed to provide on-site HR support. 
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant human resources generalist or HR Business Partner experience. 
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. 
  • Experience handling day-to-day HR support for managers and employees in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond quickly to issues, and follow through with strong attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. 
  • Proficiency with HR systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
  • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, confidentiality, and accountability. 
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English is preferred. 
  • Experience in professional sports, entertainment, hospitality, or another high-service, customer-facing environment is a plus. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require. 

This position is based primarily in our Coral Gables office and Miami’s Nu Stadium. It also requires regular work in Fort Lauderdale. Candidates must be able to travel consistently between locations based on business needs.
