Description
In this role, you will:
- Lead all operational leaders including Assistant Plant Managers, Production Building Managers, and Process Managers
- Mentor and develop leadership teams while fostering a high-performance culture
- Oversee all production, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance activities
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the facility
- Lead problem-solving initiatives related to quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale
- Ensure safe, clean, and compliant plant operations while promoting strong safety practices
- Build and develop operational processes, procedures, and organizational structure to support strategic growth
- Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, continuous improvement, and self-directed work teams
- Collaborate with R&D and Process Engineering teams to optimize manufacturing conditions and product quality
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve process and production concerns
- Develop and manage operating budgets and support financial reporting to executive leadership
- Monitor and drive KPI performance across all operational areas
- Provide on-site leadership response during plant disruptions or operational emergencies
- Maintain strong relationships across operations, support departments, and executive leadership teams
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum eight (8) years of manufacturing and supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, safety programs, and operational leadership
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple disciplines and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to develop operational business plans and execution strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Lean manufacturing practices
- Experience in IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001/14001 environments
- Automotive manufacturing industry experience
- Experience leading large-scale manufacturing startup or commissioning activities
Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position working primarily Monday through Friday, day shift. This leadership role requires flexibility and availability to support plant operations outside standard business hours as needed. Candidates must reside within a 40-mile radius of the Terre Haute production facility.

Salary Description
$145,000 - $175,000 per year
