Mintahoe Catering & Events is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Associate to support and grow within our sales team. This is an entry-level, developmental role designed for someone eager to learn the events and catering industry while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in sales.
In this role, you will support the full sales lifecycle, from lead response through booking, while learning the standards, pace, and mindset required to succeed as a Sales Consultant at Mintahoe. You will assist with tours, proposals, bookings, and client communication, gradually taking on increased responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.
This position offers hands-on training, mentorship, and daily exposure to high-quality events, iconic venues, and real client decision-making- creating a clear pathway into a full sales role over time.
What You’ll Learn & Support
As a Junior Sales Associate, you will work closely with senior sales team members while developing core sales skills, operational knowledge, and professional confidence.
Sales Support & Lead Coordination
- Assist in managing and qualifying incoming sales leads
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
- Support timely follow-up to help maintain client momentum
Client Experience & Tours
- Help coordinate and support venue tours, tastings, and consultations
- Learn how to guide clients through decision-making with clarity and confidence
- Observe and assist with relationship-driven sales conversations
Proposals, Bookings & Documentation
- Assist in the preparation and processing of proposals, contracts, and bookings
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal tracking systems
- Learn the importance of speed, accuracy, and organization in protecting revenue
Team & Internal Collaboration
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team
- Collaborate with venue managers, culinary, operations, and marketing teams
- Ensure smooth handoffs and clear communication throughout the sales process
Professional Development
- Learn Mintahoe’s venues, services, pricing structures, and sales standards
- Develop time management, organization, and follow-through habits
- Gradually take on more ownership as skills and experience grow
What We’re Looking For
