SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing project and analytics support to all Development/Philanthropy teams. This includes managing dashboards, monthly and annual reconciliation with finance, the department’s data request queue, departmental budgeting and revenue forecasting, and other fundraising analysis. This position will also support Philanthropy’s gift processing efforts as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This list is not all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Design, manage, and execute all fundraising reports, which includes ongoing and annual comparative reports on giving results, monthly and annual fundraising performance reports, key performance indicators, peer group benchmarks, industry metrics, campaign management; assist donor database manager with quarterly and annual Network Activity Reports for Feeding America, and other reports as needed
- Design, produce, provide, and present timely and pertinent reports on development data analytics to development team members, leadership team, and other GCFB colleagues as appropriate and upon request.
- Prepare development information for financial audits, state solicitation registration and reports, Form 990, and other fundraising-related data support for and with staff of the accounting department.
- Oversee and manage the process of providing properly formatted constituent data lists to appropriate GCFB department members and external vendors to support direct mail solicitations, online giving activities, and other constituent communications and activities.
- Represent Development in the monthly close process with Finance, working with development coordinator and the accounting department to ensure Philanthropy fundraising totals balance with accounting each month.
- Provide support to the gift processing team as needed (i.e. provide coverage and assist with various processing tasks when colleagues are on PTO, and assist as needed during the peak holiday season)
- Assist donors who contact Donor Services via phone or email by responding to the Development Queue, Donor Services email and the Donor Service voicemail.
- Provide support of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank’s two signature events (Market at the Food Bank and Taste of the Browns) and the Annual Meeting by assisting with set-up, completing assigned duties at the event and helping with clean-up.
- Actively support and champion initiatives aimed at driving continuous improvement throughout the organization. May participate in one of the following: LEAN council, a kaizen, 5S campaign or other process improvement efforts to support continuous improvement and improved processes within the food bank.
- Reports to Sr. Manager, Data and Philanthropy Operations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

No supervisory or lead responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or 5+ years of CRM systems experience and/or training in lieu of a degree; or equivalent combination of education and CRM experience required. Raiser’s Edge experience is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting. Power BI and/or Tableau experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, when necessary.
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer software is required.
- This position requires strong attention to detail, effective multitasking skills, ability to work in a team atmosphere and strong interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements and Environment
- The physical requirements for this position include: Ability to remain in a near constant stationary position. Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. frequently. Ability to operate a computer or other office productivity machinery constantly.
- Occasional ability to ascend/descend stairs to access work spaces. Occasional ability to position or move body to access filing cabinets or other work equipment. Ability to constantly exchange accurate information and communicate in person or via telephone with clients, partners, donors, coworkers and other members of the community. Must be able to constantly view a computer screen. Ability to move office equipment/supplies on seldom occasions. Ability to lift 10-25 lbs occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $62,000 per year, commensurate with experience
