The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal II to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential litigation support to our post-judgment collections team, including drafting and filing pleadings, working with in-house counsel, and communicating with debtors. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help ensure the smooth operation of legal processes and case management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise while contributing to impactful projects within a collaborative environment.
What You Will Do:
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, maintaining case files, and coordinating court filings in compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
- Communicate with debtors regarding their accounts and settlements.
- Assist attorneys with legal research as needed, using LexisNexis and other research tools to gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulatory information.
- Perform data entry and filing tasks while maintaining meticulous records of case activities and legal documentation.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars for attorneys, handling phone etiquette professionally, and assisting with executive administrative tasks.
What You Will Do:
- Extensive knowledge of civil litigation, especially contract enforcement and post-judgment collections law.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; excellent proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with document review processes and contract management.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette; capable of providing high-level administrative support.

$27.00-$30.00 per hour w/ Monthly Bonus
