We are currently seeking experienced mixologists to join our team.

As a Server Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position requires a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. This position supports both front and back of the house staff by facilitating miscellaneous needs such as the removal of soiled plate ware, stocking needs, and cleaning. They expedite the table turning process by cleaning tables and re-setting for the next customers based on Appellation standards. This position is also responsible for delivering all Hotel Room Service orders and picking up dishware from them as well.  

We're looking for team players who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and take pride in creating memorable moments for every guest. This is a part-time position requiring flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Bus tables efficiently, effectively, promptly and discreetly
  • Serve water and bread & butter to guests and refill beverages as needed
  • Remove full linen bags, as needed
  • Promptly and accurately ring in, set up and deliver room service orders and collect and process payments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, stocking and organization of the dining area and server stations
  • Assist with any spills and clean up needed as per safety requirements
  • If server is not immediately available to greet table within two minutes, greet table with water and explain their server will be right with them
  • Help servers/expeditor as needed to run food/beverages to table
  • Maintain a basic knowledge of our menu items, ingredients, beverages
  • Perform other duties as required; opening and closing side work
  • Support in extended duties as directed by management

Compensation & Benefits:

  •         Pay: $16.90 hourly rate plus gratuity averaging from $24.00 to $34.00 per hour

Requirements
  • At least 2 years Restaurant Front of the House experience 
  • Is a willing and supportive team member that contributes to the restaurant departmental goals; provide suggestions/recommendations in order to maintain the status of innovative leader in culinary and hospitality excellence.
  • Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to their concerns
  • Is effective at working multiple priorities, working under stress, time management and exercise good judgment with guest and employee situations and challenges
  • Must have flexibility in performing different job roles within the restaurant
  • Knowledgeable in the use of POS system and accuracy of order entries
  • Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts a week including the weekend and holidays
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

In order to perform the duties and requirement for this job, you must have the following physical abilities:

Constant – walking, standing and repetitive use of hands, arms and legs

Frequent – bending, carrying of pitcher, tray with drinks and plate(s) of food, grasping, pushing, pulling reaching above, below and at shoulder level, bending and twisting of body and neck

Occasional – power grasping, carrying case of wine & beverage items, stooping to ground level to retrieve items

You must have the ability to lift (up to 50 pounds), bend, stoop and reach. Lift and carry equipment and supplies. Constantly walking and standing for long periods (up to 4 hours) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; walking over uneven ground and up and down stairs to service guests with or without reasonable accommodation. See and read a POS system and printed material with or without vision aids. Hear and understand speech at normal levels. 

Salary Description
$16.90 plus gratuity averaging $24 -$34 per hour
