Firmwide Recruiting Specialist
Description

The Firmwide Recruiting Specialist is responsible for supporting the recruitment lifecycle for the firm’s open positions. The main responsibilities for this position include conducting candidate screenings, coordinating interviews, and managing the candidate database via the firm’s applicant tracking system (ATS).


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the full-cycle recruitment process for staff and attorney positions as assigned by managing job postings and the candidate database. 
  • Conduct initial resume screenings and phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and manage logistical arrangements, including scheduling and room reservations.
  • Maintain and organize the candidate database via the firm’s applicant tracking system (ATS); maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, providing information about the firm, job roles, and the overall recruitment process.
  • Negotiate offers with candidates, including extending employment offers and handling offer rejections.
  • Utilize a variety of methods such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals to identify potential candidates. 
  • Assist with recruiting events such as career fairs and alumni events, meeting with local schools and organizations, in-office hiring events, etc. 
  • Assist with summer associate program, including OCI (On-Campus Interviews).
  • Assist with administrative tasks and communicate with candidates as needed.
  • Fulfill other recruitment-related duties as assigned by the Recruiting Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience handling full-cycle recruiting for attorney and staff positions within a law firm environment is required; 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree [BL1] from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an applicant tracking system (ATS). 
  • Previous experience coordinating On-Campus Interviews (OCI) is preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of legal recruitment terminology, processes, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, administrative, technological, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Excel. 
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, including the ability to work well in both team and individual settings. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.

Salary Description

$90,000 - $110,000


Work Schedule

8:30am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends and holidays.


Physical Requirements 

Primarily sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. Work can be performed with or without accommodations.


Travel 

5-10% domestic travel by car and by plane.
