Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and service-oriented Part-Time Teller to join our team. In this role, you will assist members with a variety of daily financial transactions while delivering a positive and professional experience. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn about credit union products and services.


Availability required Monday through Saturday, in person, with varying shifts.

Key Responsibilities
• Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries.
• Handle check cashing, money order purchases, and loan-related transactions.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer with accuracy at the close of each business day.
• Provide friendly and efficient member assistance while identifying additional products or services that may benefit members.
• Remain informed on company procedures, financial regulations, and available credit union products.
• Support branch operations and collaborate with team members to ensure excellent service standards.

Requirements


Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience providing excellent customer service.

• Comfortable promoting and explaining financial products and services.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• General computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems quickly.

• Experience with CUAnswers or similar financial institution software preferred.


Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communications, or a related discipline is a plus.

Salary Description
$16.26 - $18.80 per hour
