Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming purchase orders, materials, and deliveries for accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain inventory for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and sewer/drain departments.
- Pull, stage, and prepare materials and equipment for technicians and installation crews.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory tracking and cycle counts.
- Coordinate with vendors, purchasing, and operations teams regarding deliveries and stock levels.
- Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when needed.
- Monitor inventory shortages and communicate restocking needs proactively.
- Assist with returns, damaged materials, and warranty items.
- Maintain accurate records of materials received, distributed, and transferred.
- Support field teams by ensuring jobs are stocked with the correct materials and equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
- Assist with general warehouse operations and daily facility needs as assigned.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
- Trades industry experience is a plus.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely.
- Dependable with strong work ethic and attendance.
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
