Location: McCook, IL
Pay: $17 Hourly
Reports to: Mailing Logistics Supervisor
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Accurate physical receiving of materials/products to maintain the integrity of inventory control and ensure delivery of materials/products to the proper department.
- Receives product deliveries
- Ensures purchase order number is on all paperwork
- Records and checks the quantity and quality of good received
- Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments
- Communicates and coordinates with the appropriate buyer for product returns/repair
- Properly inputs received material into the computer system
- Delivers products to appropriateinternal personnel
- Assists in other departments as needed
- Perform cycle counts regularly
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and managers
- Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations
- Maintains job-related confidentiality
- Understands and adheres to organizational and department policy and procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to operate with a sense of teamwork
- Ability to always conduct himself/herself in a professional manner
- Computer literate
- English is a must to be able to communicate with Account Managers
- Warehouse experience is required
- Sit-Down Forklift Experience Required
Education:
- Highschool Degree/GED is required
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 3 hours
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Intermittent bending up to 3 hours.
