Position Summary
GenServe is seeking a highly driven and resourceful Recruiting Sourcer to support technical recruiting eorts across North America. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines, supporting hiring initiatives for field-based
technical roles, and serving as a key liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and operational teams. This position reports to the Technical Recruiting Manager.
The Recruiting Sourcer will play a critical role in executing sourcing strategies, engaging talent through both digital platforms and in-person events, and ensuring a seamless candidate lifecycle experience from initial contact through onboarding coordination. This position requires a strong presence in the field, frequent travel, and the ability to build lasting relationships with vocational programs and community partners aligned with GenServe’s workforce needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified technical candidates across North America
- Utilize recruiting platforms, including Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and Monster, to identify, source, and engage candidates
- Execute targeted outreach strategies for both active and passive candidates
- Manage and support the full candidate lifecycle, from initial outreach and screening through interview coordination, candidate communication and follow-up, and offer stage support, including onboarding coordination
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience by providing clear communication, timely updates, and process transparency
- Coordinate closely with hiring managers, HR, and onboarding teams to ensure smooth hiring transitions
- Assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screens, physicals, and required documentation
- Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to support ongoing hiring needs
- Participate in candidate evaluation, interview processes, and hiring recommendations
- Provide structured feedback and candidate summaries to support decision-making
- Build and maintain relationships with vocational (Vo-Tech) schools, technical programs, and workforce development organizations
- Attend and participate in career fairs, graduation events, and community-based recruiting initiatives
- Represent GenServe as a brand ambassador in regional and national talent markets
- Travel up to 50% to support in-person recruiting efforts, hiring events, and branch-level needs
- Conduct on-site candidate engagement and recruiting activities across multiple locations
- Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting strategies, workflows, and candidate engagement practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in the field of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition
- A deep understanding of the application and utilization of technology to enhance the candidate experience and lifecycle process
- Experience using recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and Monster
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for technical, skilled trades, or field service roles
- Professional recruiting/sourcing certifications such as AIRS, CSSR, CASR, etc.
- Familiarity with vocational or technical training programs and workforce development pipelines
- Strong networking and in-person recruiting capabilities
- Experience supporting high-volume or multi-location hiring initiatives
