The National Account Manager (NAM) is tasked with STARC Systems' product adoption and revenue growth of Key National-Scale Customers. This role is responsible for leading activities that build trust, gain influence, raise the level of overall key account business intelligence, and execute directly on high-profile, high-impact project opportunities. In addition, the NAM acts as an enabler and supporter of all other STARC sales channels and participates in the design of future customer service-based offerings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned national accounts, developing strong long-term partnerships
- Creates and executes account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue opportunities
- Partners with customers to understand their challenges and deliver value-added solutions
- Drives double-digit Revenue Growth in assigned National Accounts
- Identifies new paths to create and cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Manages the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing
- Schedules and conducts client meetings (both in the customer office and on the construction site), presentations, and events
- Collaborate with sales leadership, broader Sales and Marketing organization, Product Development, and Revenue Operations to ensure support satisfaction and market capture
- Supports the shaping of customer and vertical-specific go-to-market growth strategies
- Stays current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adjust the sales approach and product development strategies proactively
- 50% travel requirement – market footprint to be defined
- Supports and models STARC systems values and mission
- Other duties as assigned, relevant to the role and support of the company
Desired Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years demonstrated success in self-generated prospecting with focus on NAM or B2B solution selling
- Proven history navigating a complex, multi-stakeholder, selling environments in construction, healthcare or building industry
- Self-starter who is comfortable acting on their own without direction and recommending improvements
- Strong negotiation and presentation competencies
- Exceptional ability to interact with customers at all levels within an organization
- Ability to understand technical product specifications and translate them into customer benefits.
- Experience and ability to demonstrate success in negotiating with C-Suite client base and the Architectural community
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate multiple priorities within a fast paced, high growth environment
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
- Resourceful, persistent, professional, goal-oriented, and customer-focused
- Ability to travel nationally (up to 50%) to meet with clients and attend trade shows/events
