Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Customer-Focused Excellence 
  • Be the trusted point of contact for customer requests from product selection and quotes to order management and support 
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by providing top tier service every interaction 
  • Resolve customer concerns with efficiency and care, turning challenges into opportunities 
  • Support our outside sales team and work with warehouse/technical teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment 
  • Operations & Coordination 
  • Master our P21 ERP system to manage customer data, inventory levels, and order status with precision 
  • Coordinate workflow across multiple inside sales departments to keep operations flowing 
  • Making custom hoses for customers on-the-spot 
  • Handle shipping, receiving, and retail counter operations with professionalism 
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and keep the branch running efficiently 

Tools of the Trade:

  • Use Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports and logs 
  • Navigate our corporate ERP system confidently 
  • Follow company procedures and ISO standards

Warehouse Clerk:

  • Assist with all shipping and receiving functions smoothly 
  • Unload and load trucks for shipments with care and efficiency 
  • Check-in merchandise and verify incoming materials against packing lists for accuracy 
  • Perform regular cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records 
  • Look up and compute inbound freight costs using zip codes and weight 
  • Assemble customer orders according to pick tickets pulling parts from shelving accurately 
  • Quality check orders to ensure correct items are picked and proper shipping methods are selected 
  • Package orders carefully to prevent damage during shipment 
  • Operate forklift safely to put away or pull material 
  • Put stock away according to bin locations systematically 
  • Enter information into the P21 ERP system accurately 
  • Use computers to ship customer orders verifying carriers, freight, and payment methods 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse environment 
  • Keep aisles clear, stock neat and orderly, and remove trash and recycle properly 
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment for all tasks 

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal)—clear, friendly, and professional 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail 
  • Quick learner who can master the P21 ERP system and warehouse operations 
  • Problem-solver who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines consistently 
  • Strong work ethic and proven ability to work collaboratively with teammates 
  • Time management skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software 
  • Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, comfortable working with tools and equipment 
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

  •  The essential functions of this role regularly require the employee to sit; use their hands to grasp, handle, or feel objects; and to speak and hear effectively. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
