Description

Position Overview:   

The MDS Coordinator will assist MDS and restorative teams regarding proper assessment to residents within their designated facilities. Responsible for assuring compliance with federal and state guidelines and promoting proper clinical reimbursement for services rendered. 


Key Responsibilities:    

  • Evaluate facility compliance to federal regulations and targets for utilization.
  • Identify areas of concern and assist facility to formulate effective action plans.
  • Review resident clinical records for coverage, utilization, errors, assessments and accurate transmission.
  • Completion of MDS's.

Requirements

MDS Nurse Preferred Qualifications: 

  • An RN license in good standing, in the state of Illinois. 
  • Previous experience as an MDS nurse and nursing leadership preferred. 
  • Good communication skills both verbal, and written. 
Salary Description
$90,000 - $95,000 annual
