JOB SUMMARY:
The Guest Experience Ticket Booth Representative serves as a key front-line ambassador for the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting guests in person and over the phone, supporting ticket sales, and ensuring a welcoming, informative, and seamless entry experience. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, and committed to upholding Arboretum standards and policies while creating memorable guest interactions.
This is a Seasonal position that requires the availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and/or seasonal evening events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Provide warm, courteous, and professional service to all guests in person and via phone
· Assist guests with ticket purchases, reservations, and general inquiries
· Accurately process transactions using ticketing and POS systems
· Share general information about the gardens, events, programs, and amenities
· Monitor and support guest flow at the ticket booth to ensure an efficient experience
· Uphold and respectfully enforce Dallas Arboretum policies and procedures
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
· Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or GED
· Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience strongly preferred
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable using computers and standard software (Microsoft Office and ticketing systems)
· Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PHYSICAL AND SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
· Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
· Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and seasonal evening events
· Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screening
