Description

 We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts within a growing government contracting organization. This role is ideal for someone with early recruiting or HR experience who is looking to grow in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.


The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and able to communicate effectively with candidates, employees, and internal stakeholders. Ability to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance is required.


Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Support

  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical positions
  • Source candidates using job boards, databases, and networking platforms
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and update applicant tracking systems
  • Support job postings across multiple platforms
  • Assist with offer coordination and pre-employment processes
  • Provide timely communication and follow-up with candidates

Candidate Experience

  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Communicate clearly with candidates regarding status updates and next steps
  • Support onboarding coordination for new hires

Administrative & HR Support

  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Assist in reporting recruiting metrics and activity updates
  • Support general HR and recruiting administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain strong attention to detail in all documentation and tracking
Requirements

 Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of recruiting, HR, staffing, or related experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Interest in recruiting, HR, or government contracting industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required
  • Exposure to applicant tracking systems is a plus
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance required
