Associate Account Manager - Personal Lines

Description

We are a full-service independent insurance agency seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Associate Account Manager to support our Insurance Producers in the sales and service of Personal Lines accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of personal insurance coverages, carrier guidelines, and client service standards. The ideal candidate will assist with both new and renewal business while delivering prompt, professional, and efficient service to clients and carrier partners.


  • Maintain and update client database records 
  • Verify policy and account information for accuracy 
  • Assist with billing functions and correspondence with accounting 
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and account maintenance requests 
  • Review and process inspections and inspection follow-up items 
  • Review and process cancellations and reinstatements 
  • Report and update claims activity 
  • Maintain accurate and consistent activity logs 
  • Manage and maintain current suspense items and follow-up tasks 
  • Utilize Agency Management Systems and integrated software efficiently 
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports 
  • Assist Producers with marketing and placement of new and renewal business 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and carrier representatives

 

Requirements
  • Working knowledge of AMS360 or Applied EPIC preferred 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products
  • Active P&C License required 
  • 1–2 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance preferred 
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
