Description


The Area Vice President is an experienced sales leader with deep roots in the real estate investment community and a strong understanding of hard money lending. This is a high-impact role for a relationship-builder who knows how to leverage their network to build, maintain, and grow a thriving book of business within their territory. The ideal candidate is a natural connector—someone who understands the nuances of deal-making, takes pride in delivering value, and thrives in a competitive, high-performance environment. You’ll be the face of HouseMax Funding in your market, responsible for expanding our footprint and strengthening our presence through strategic outreach and consistent follow-through.


Responsibilities:

  •  Leverage your existing network of real estate investors, agents, brokers, and other professionals to generate and close new lending opportunities
  •  Represent HouseMax Funding at real estate networking events, investment groups, and community functions
  •  Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of active borrowers and repeat clients
  •  Provide consultative, solution-oriented sales conversations tailored to investor needs and project timelines
  •  Collaborate with internal operations and underwriting teams to deliver seamless loan experiences
  •  Maintain detailed records and manage opportunities using CRM tools to hit and exceed monthly sales targets
  •  Build long-term, trust-based relationships that drive ongoing referrals and repeat business





Requirements

Qualifications:

  •  5+ years of outside sales experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in private lending, real estate investment, construction, or financial services
  •  Established and active network within your local builder, contractor, and real estate investment space
  •  Deep understanding of asset-based lending, real estate project evaluation, and investor needs
  •  Track record of consistently exceeding sales goals in a self-driven, territory-based role
  •  Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
  •  Tech-savvy, organized, and disciplined in managing a high-volume sales pipeline
  •  Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping clients succeed
