About the Role


This is a working supervisor position, leading by example on the floor while helping support the daily operations of the café. You’ll work closely with the Café Manager and District Manager to ensure a strong guest experience, smooth operations, and a positive team environment.


This role is ideal for someone with lead/supervisory experience looking to grow their leadership skills while continuing to work hands-on with the team

What we are looking for someone who can:

  • Lead with a “guest first” mindset, supporting the team and helping create a great customer experience 
  • Demonstrate strong customer service while helping guide team members during shifts 
  • Create a positive, team-focused environment and help maintain strong communication throughout the café 
  • Support daily café operations including opening, closing, breaks, cash handling, and shift execution 
  • Help manage product levels, ordering, waste, and inventory needs to support smooth operations 
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the café 
  • Support scheduling, training, onboarding, and staffing communication in partnership with Cafe Manager as needed
  • Help identify and solve operational hurdles while adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment 
  • Monitor daily sales, deposits, reporting, and tip distribution responsibilities accurately 
  • Communicate maintenance and facility needs proactively
  • Work a flexible schedule, including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds and be active for the duration of shifts
Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 6 months of supervisory/lead experience (food/retail preferred)
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside their team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to stay calm, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable delegating tasks and helping direct shift operations 
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn operational systems and reporting 
  • Food Handler’s Permit (or ability to obtain) 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays
