SUMMARY
The Pricing & Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in coordinating the company’s sales and project execution functions through the entirety of the sales cycle. This position facilitates the operational bridge between account executives, planners, vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are accurate and complete and projects are aligned with customer expectations, vendor capabilities, and internal standards.
Core Functions of the Role:
- Independently prepares, evaluates, and reviews all-inclusive pricing for projects, including material, freight, delivery, and installation costs
- Collects, analyzes, and incorporates supporting documentation from Sales, Planning, and the customer to confirm alignment with project requirements
- Ensures proposed solutions are accurate and complete and projects are aligned with customer expectation
- Responsible for identifying missing, conflicting, or unclear pricing and/or product information and determining appropriate corrective actions
- Requests pricing, drawings, and technical information from select vendors whose product lines are not fully supported through standard internal processes
- Develops formal proposal and quote packages by applying awareness and understanding of pricing structures, contract terms, and conditions
- Develops and applies best practices around prioritization to the preparation of quotes and quote revisions, ensuring customer and account executive requirements are met
- Supports pre-sale documentation and communication requirements for general contractor opportunities
- Reviews and evaluates project specifications to include products, colors, finishes, and scope to ensure consistency with quoted materials
- Monitors and updates project lead times to support alignment between customer expectations and vendor capabilities
- Maintains accurate records within CRM, quoting, and project management systems
- Follows established workflows, approval processes, and documentation standards
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram, or schedule form.
