100MM Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment throughout the facility and manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring equipment operates safely and effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. 
  • Diagnose and repair motors,  contactors, overloads, VFDs, HMIs, thermostats, and power supplies. 
  • Troubleshoot 480VAC/220VAC  3-phase systems and low-voltage electrical systems. 
  • Maintain and repair production  equipment, including coil coating lines, roll forming machines, slitters, and warehouse equipment. 
  • Perform preventive maintenance  and support equipment startups and shutdowns. 
  • Respond quickly to equipment  failures to minimize production downtime. 
  • Follow OSHA and company safety  procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and other safety protocols. 
  • Utilize the work order system to document, update, and complete maintenance activities. 
  • Communicate maintenance issues  and coordinate repairs with production and quality teams. 
  • Assist with ordering parts,  technical troubleshooting, and training maintenance personnel. 
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of industrial  maintenance experience. 
  • Strong electrical and mechanical  troubleshooting skills. 
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial  hydraulic experience. 
  • Minimum 2 years of pneumatic  system experience. 
  • Previous industrial or manufacturing experience required. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot  industrial electrical systems and control equipment. 
  • Experience with bearings,  gearboxes, chains, sprockets, shafts, and couplings. 
  • Ability to work overtime as  required. 
  • PLC troubleshooting and  industrial automation experience preferred. 
  • Experience with preventive  maintenance programs and work order systems preferred.
