Regional Sales Manager - Southern Territory
Reporting to the Senior Director of Regional Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will develop and execute market strategies for assigned territory, accounts and targets. This person will manage, provide Product Familiarization and education End-user safety professionals in the territory and assigned IMR Groups. This person will perform sales, service and administrative tasks and procedures focused on Blue Chip End-users.
As an individual contributor, this person will lead and participate in multi-functional team efforts while understanding and effectively communicating all portions of the business. This person will also participate in and contribute to the success of business events, conferences, trade shows, seminars and special events.
Travel to prospective End-user client sites required 65% of the time.
You have already accomplished (required):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or another related field·
- 5+ year’s Field Selling
- 5+ year’s Sales Region Management
- Proficiency using Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- QSSP Certification
You may have already accomplished (preferred):
- Familiarity using CRM Systems

Key Job Duties:
- Develop and nurture relationships with new End-users and key decision makers and current and prospective End-user customers.
- Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management
- Manage all phases of the sales process from company/product introduction through final presentation and customer agreement to purchase:
- Focus on New Products placement with End-users
- Expand sales within existing End-user accounts and keep track of account activities in order to respond to new developments and changes.
- Meet or exceed Annual Sales Plan metric.
- Manage Expenses within assigned budget.
- Present the company’s Tenacious Value Proposition to prospects, groups, conferences or business events.
- Demonstrate strong territory management skills with the ability to network and generate leads, develop sales plans and manage results effectively:
- Execute sales plans and strategies that reach potential End-user customers within the territory and identify new End-user clients with oversight of the RFP deliverable
- Manage distribution and independent manufacturers’ reps as need to support Channel Management Team
- Demonstrate strong selling skills:
- Prospect and qualify leads, identify End-user customer needs, translate risk assessment to benefits, deliver effective solutions / demos, negotiate and close sales.
- Discover and relay competitive intelligence to the Product Management Team by being fluent on all competitors in the region and ensuring the ability to articulate the company’s strengths / value proposition in comparison to competitors’ weakness.
- Support the Product Management team’s New Product placement plans and Voice of Customer activities.
- Records and reports significant activity, sales pipeline and status of deals, projects and opportunities in CRM and monitors weekly.
