Inspection Team Managers/Compliance Audit Managers

Salary: 

  $95,000 - $115,000/annually

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the salary range. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. 


Remote: 

· Must be able to travel approximately 1 or 2 weeks a month to facilities.

· Maintain the ability to be 24-hour travel-ready for unannounced facility visits.

To support a major federal project expansion, we are seeking five (5) agile, sharp Inspection Team Managers/Compliance Audit Managers to direct high-priority compliance inspection teams evaluating oversight facilities. This role is designed for an operationally minded compliance professional who loves fieldwork, excels at directing small teams, and understands how to build a rock-solid investigative record. Based anywhere in the United States, you will oversee unannounced site visits and ensure our teams strictly adhere to the Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation (CIGIE Blue Book) and GAGAS requirements.


Positions are contingent on project award. 


What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means managing a seamless, high-velocity inspection machine from initial deployment to final publication. Within the first 12 months, you will:

  • Apply a Legal-Minded Lens: Ensure every inspection report and finding is structured like an investigative record, perfectly documented, heavily sourced, and built to withstand intense external or legal challenges.
  • Manage flawless Field Inspections: Successfully direct a dedicated team of Senior Inspectors, Auditors, and Medical Subject Matter Experts through 3-to-4-day site walkthroughs, capturing rock-solid, fact-based evidence.
  • Maintain 100% Evidentiary Integrity: Establish an airtight internal quality control process so that every deficiency, photograph, interview memorandum, and data analysis workpaper is thoroughly cross-referenced and defensible.
  • Crush Tight Reporting Windows: Drive a streamlined drafting workflow to submit comprehensive, site-specific draft reports to the Client within deadlines. 

You’ll Own

  • Act as the primary on-site Manager for inspection teams (4–6 personnel), coordinating logistics, assigning areas of responsibility, and ensuring the absolute safety and professionalism of your team during unannounced facility visits.
  • Seamlessly blend specialized findings from medical subject matter experts and fiscal specialists into cohesive, narrative-driven evaluation reports.
  • Address and resolve complex technical issues or edits raised by agency leadership, providing definitive guidance on compliance thresholds and facility-specific recommendations.
  • Synthesize inspection workpapers into larger pattern assessments, providing leadership with actionable data to plan future monitoring hierarchies and focus areas.


Requirements

  • You have legal compliance skills. You bring 3-5 years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory affairs, administrative law, or government investigations, alongside your background in GAGAS or CIGIE Blue Book standards.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; A Juris Doctor (J.D.) or an advanced degree/certification in regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • You have prior experience or an exceptional baseline understanding within a federal oversight capacity, civil rights monitoring, or facility operations (NDS, PBNDS, or FPBDS standards).
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, and you must be able to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Risk Public Trust fitness screening to handle Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) data.
  • Must be free of any actual or perceived conflicts of interest (COI) relative to the facilities under review.
