Description

PURPOSE: Prepares food to order according to recipe specifications, procedure, quality and timing standards. Greets guests and processes orders while maintaining a clean, sanitized and safe food operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  •  Comply with all health code requirements to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  •  Maintain food storage (receiving, stocking and rotating) of product.
  •  Complete prep tasks as needed according to recipe.
  •  Safely operate kitchen equipment and machinery according to OSHA guidelines.

OTHER DUTIES:

  •  Meet customer requests by preparing orders to their specifications and building rapport.
  •  Closely communicate with both HOH & FOH.
  •  Perform all other functions as assigned by management.
Requirements

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 100 % Stand or walk. Climb stairs occasionally.
  • 75% Work at Approx. 36" table/stove and reach in approx. 36”.
  • 75% Ability to reach overhead, bend, stoop and wipe.
  • 60% Perform job at a continuous high pace while meeting quality & speed standards.
  • 50% View and read orders from an elevated video monitor.
  • 50% Lift and carry product up to 50 pounds from floor to above waist level, approx. 20 feet, stairs included.

ESSENTIAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful completion of hourly position validations, including reading training materials and watching videos.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 16 years old to be hired, 18 years old to operate mandated equipment and meet any other state qualifications. 
  • Must possess a valid “Employee Liquor Permit” on or before start date.
